Valentines Day Picture Books Your Kids Will LOVE

February is the perfect month to sprinkle some love and laughter into your classroom library and reading centers! With Valentine’s Day as the centerpiece of the month, I’ve curated a lineup of delightful picture books that celebrate love, kindness, and connection. Plus, I’ll be incorporating two engaging resources into my centers to make the month even more memorable for my students.

Valentine’s Day Jitters Pop! Like a Confetti  Moment

Valentine’s Day Jitters by Julie Danneberg offers a humorous and relatable look at overcoming anxiety and embracing new experiences. Mrs. Hartwell’s nervous excitement about Valentine’s Day will resonate with students, sparking great conversations about managing emotions and finding joy in unexpected moments.

The POP! Resource covers a variety of skills from getting to know your students in morning meeting to comprehension questions. It is a print and go resource that will set you up to review a variety of skills with your students while enjoying a great book together!

This book is perfect for discussing themes of confidence and never giving up, and it pairs wonderfully with one of my Valentine-themed comprehension resources.
